29. Humlarödshus pasture

On the eastern ridge of Romeleåsen you'll find this well preserved pasture with a fine view over Vomb valley.

This centuries old pastureland has developed a rich flora with species that can survive frequent attacks. Juniper bushes and oval crowned trees spread around the pastures. The shrubs are lit up by bird's-foot trefoil, harebell, yarrow, oxeye daisy and dwarf thistle. The rich flora attracts butterflies and other insects can be seen flying between flowers in fine weather.

Getting to Simontorp:
Continue down the small gravel road and you soon come to a crossing on to an asphalt road. Turn left and after a short while you reach Stora Rödde. Turn right in the village towards Simontorp. Follow the road towards Blentarp
