Humlaröd's common is a natural pasture with rich flora and a great view of Vomb valley. It lies on a northern slope at the top of Romeleåsen.
Here you'll find orchids like the Western Marsh-orchid and Butterfly-orchid. Other interesting species are Cat's-Foot, Fairy Flax and Flea Sedge. The area is what remains of the widespread pastures that once covered the whole of Romeleåsen. Humlarödshus common is a nature reserve with grazing cattle and horses. This protection helps to preserve all the rare plants in the area.
Getting there:
Drive along road 102 between Veberöd and Skurup. Turn east to follow the sign for ”Naturreservat”. You'll find the reserve on your left just under one kilometer after Dörröd,. There is no car park, but you can park on the road side.
