Snogeholm is a great place for a day out with its varied woods and open fields.
In the north you find rolling pastures with Heather and Grey Hair Grass. The woods are varied with pine and oak on sandy soil to tall beech woods with many old, thick trees. Several marked paths for walks and hiking run through the area. There are also paths for disabled people. If you walk down to Navröd at the southern tip of lake Sövde in winter you can see hundreds of geese passing through. You could even catch a glimpse of the sea-eagle.
In summer you can bathe at Tockarpsbadet, fish in the Kejsardamm or lake Snogeholm . Rent a boat at Fiskarehus. You can spend the night at camp sites, youth hostels or cabins.
Snogeholm is a trust administrated by Region Skåne. The castle is private and includes a hotel and restaurant.
